Equipment Needs

Trucks being leased on to Elite Trucking must have the following equipment.  
We do have local businesses that can provide competitive pricing for items
you may need.
  •       Truck model year 2000 and newer.
  •        3/4 or larger truck
  •        5th Wheel - Rated at least 15,000 pounds and up
  •        Gooseneck hitch
  •        Leveling bars
  •        Full width mud flaps
  •        Class III receiver - rated at least 10,000 pounds
  •        Extended mirrors
  •        1,000 pound load distribution
  •        Credit Card for emergency truck repairs on the road
  •        Electric brake control
  •        Appropriate bed plug and bumper plug
  •        (4) 27 foot tie down straps 2 inches wide, for securing frame loads.
  •        2 ball sizes: 2" and 2 5/16"
  •        Electric  break away battery
  •        Fuel tank in bed of pick up
  •        Camera to keep with you at all times
  •        Proper emergency equipment
  •        Cell phone
  •        Wing nuts and bolts for plates
  •        4-way lug wrench (truck size)
